A new exhibit has opened at the Cattaraugus County Museum! Entitled "Let Us Have Peace: A Sesquicentennial Commemoration of the Civil War in its Fourth Year", the exhibit will complement our summer Civil War Event Series and will run through October. The exhibit is made possible by generous loans of artifacts by several Cattaraugus County residents, including two of our summer program speakers: Earl McElfresh and Lawrence Kilmer. We hope to see you!
The Cattaraugus County Museum is located in the Stone House, 9824 Rt. 16 Machias. We are open Tuesday through Thursday, 9-4. We can be reached at 716-353-8200.
