Father's Group Starting
Dads' Group: For fathers, stepdads, grandfathers, foster dads or any father role
Father's, stepdads, grandfather's, foster dads or any male in a father role is welcome to attend a father's group beginning September 19, 2013. The group will meet from 6-8pm on Thursdays at the Depot at JCC's Olean Campus.
The program is free and is designed to help men enhance their relationships with their children and the mother's of their children. Topics include communication styles, anger management, values and behavior, conflict resolution, Family Court Systems, boyhood to manhood and more.
Food is provided and help with transportation is available.
Enrollment is open and ongoing. Participants who complete 10 sessions receive a certificate of completion, acknowledging their attendance and participation.
The program is sponsored by the Cattaraugus County Department of Social Services in partnership with Cattaraugus County Community Action.
