8th Annual Rural Living Expo

On Saturday, April 2, 2011 Cornell University Cooperative Extension will be sponsoring the 8th Annual Rural Living Expo.  The program will begin at 9:00 AM and end at 3:00 PM.  The program offers four concurrent sessions and with four classes per session to choose from there will be something of interest to all.
 
Presenters are brought in from both private and public sectors to provide participants with up-to-date information.  Some of this year's topic highlights are: food preparation and preservation, garden art and design, making goats milk soap, beekeeping, cover crops in home gardens, developing a rural livestock or food business and much more.
 
The program will be held at the Cuba-Rushford High School located on Route 305 North in Cuba, NY.  There is a cost for this program and pre-registration is required.  The deadline has been extended.  For more information or to register contact Cornell University Cooperative Extension at 585-268-7644 ext. 10.
